He rolled to his feet and the scaled the climbing wall without bothering with the harness. He almost missed a hold and he quickly had to grab on to the wall. Once at the top he lowered himself back down and started on the run ahead.

He ran for about a half mile and felt himself getting slightly tired, regardless he pressed on and soon he reached a wall with a rope attatched. He grabbed it and started to climb up planting his two feet on.

He reached the top and then lowered himself down. He was now faced with an underwater tunnel and he plunged in straight away. He was going good but suddenly his trousers were caught on a rock.

He started to panic but then he calmed himself and back swam slightly and then swam onwards. Once he emerged he caught his breath and continued forwards. There was another half mile run and he started out at a mangable pace on the run.

He reached the end and looked at the rigging above him. It went upwards for a mile or so and Mesthesi attached the harness. He started climbing as fast as he could determined to finish in a better time.

He was half way up and he was going good, when he saw that one of the ropes was snapping and threatening to give way as was the rest of the rigging. Mesthesi put on an extra burst of speed and managed to clear the rigging just as it gave way.

He continued on the elevated platform after removing the harness. He walked across a log cautiously because of the height. However there was the safety net below so he took a risk towards the end.

Once that was clear he continued for a mile across boards as he headed towards the next obstacle, a huge stair case. He soon discovered though that there was a twist to it and he had to hop with both legs bound together.

The backpack was taking it's toll on him but he soldiered on. He reached the top of the stair case and found a abseiling rope awaiting him. He attached the harness and started his descent.

The descent was over a mile in length and he soon had to stop as the backpack was putting him off balance. He found his centre of balance and regained his equilibrium as he continued downwards.

He reached the bottom and then he took the harness off. Next was a maze which could lead to him getting lost and losing the course. Without thinking Mesthesi ran into the maze and started trying to find his bearings.

He first turned right then left and found himself at a dead end. He doubled back and tried a new route as he tried to remain calm. This part was essential if he was to beat the best time. He tried making a mind map of the area as he discovered it.

It was working and he soon navigated himself to the centre, where he found a button which he pressed expecting it to finish the challenge. Instead he was teleported to another area on the other side of the maze.

He was soon confronted by the man who had won the challenge in the best time. He looked at Mesthesi and said "I centred my life on that one goal for too long and I'll not have it taken away from me." he said as he charged Mesthesi.

The man produced a knife and started slashing wildly whilst Mesthesi dodged and asked "What are you talking about?" The man screamed at him, "The obstacle course, I trained for hours to post that good a time and It will stay there!"
